BD FACS Aria III Cell Sorter

Overview

A FACS Cell Sorter utilizes flow cytometry for single cell separation and collection. A state-of-the-art sorter with 3 lasers (488 nm, 633 nm & 405 nm) is able to detect 10 fluorochromes, 12 parameters in total, and has the capacity to sort 4 different populations simultaneously. The FACS Cell sorter allows the isolation of single cells with certain characteristics. Single cell analysis is vital for the identification and characterization of functionally important cell sub-populations and even the enrichment of rare cell populations.
